From the moment she welcomed us to the theatre, performer and writer Julia Hales had us in the palm of her hand. You Know We Belong Together was based around a series of vignettes comprised of monologues, filmed interviews, sketches and chats. All of us were moved to tears at some stage, sometimes with laughter, sometimes with sadness – the performance thoroughly deserved the lengthy standing ovation it received.
