"Maudie" and more!!!!

Writer's picture: Cheryl OsborneCheryl Osborne

We gathered at Osmond Glen to watch the home movie. Based on a true story Maudie (played by Sally Hawkins) is a beautiful portrait of reclusive Canadian folk artist Maude Lewis. After the movie we headed outside for lunch. We had a huge surprise as Sally and Ray had decorated the verandah with Christmas decorations and the table was suitably adorned including Christmas crackers. We had a lovely festive meal of Turduken and salads followed by mince pies. Thank you so much Sally and Ray for a memorable lunch.
