Celebrating Community Awards

Accolades for individual members of wheels and wheels at the Shire of Mundaring's 2019 Celebrating Community Awards. Sally, wheels indefatigable Chair/Treasurer/Activities Co-ordinator received an Inspirational Volunteer Award. In part the citation said "Sally’s energy and enthusiasm is contagious as is her practical compassion." wheels was acknowledged for 'making a difference to create a more accessible and inclusive Shire of Mundaring' .. "It supports people to enjoy the freedoms of the second half of life"…. Whilst Committee member, Gwyn, received an Inspirational Volunteer Award for her work with the Mt Helena Residents' and Ratepayers' Association, with particular reference to organising seven Whim Festivals.
