Darlington Chamber......what a privilege

The fourth concert in the Winter Series last Sunday was amazing. We are so incredibly fortunate to have these wonderful musicians perform for us locally and so intimately.

Last Sunday Will Nichols played his harp......we were sitting just feet away from him and could see his feet and hands do such amazing things and make such breathtakingly beautiful music. We were able to examine his harp at close quarters at interval. He was accompanied by Semra Lee, Zak Rowntree (violins), Sally Boud (viola) and Jon Tooby (cello).

The Darlington Quartet is about to embark on an overseas tour to England and Greece.

Jon Tooby plays Laurence Osborne's mother's cello and he was excited to tell Laurence that he's taking Cis's cello "home" to England from whence it originally came.
