This beautiful accommodation nestled in Fitzgerald National Park is a treat. We loved the tranquility, the bushland, the kangaroos, our hosts Karin and Carsten and the fact that we were out of the hurly-burly of Bremer Bay! We had three different "cabins" and gathered at the central one. Karin & Carsten cooked us a meal, which they served to us in the beautifully set up Quaalup Homestead, an old building built in 1858. We wandered along the Nature Walk, and followed a kangaroo trail to a high spot overlooking a picturesque valley. We tried for a sunset, but no it was too cloudy. The weather was chilly so our bathers stayed dry much to our disappointment. We couldn't visit Point Anne due to the road being closed as a result of the recent bushfire. Another disappointment. However, the trip was so enjoyable it just didn't matter.
