Recently a group of us caught the train to Perth, then changed lines and travelled to Yanchep. It wasn't the most interesting train ride as the train line is lower than the banks on the sides thus obscuring the view ..... which was mainly black, or grey roofs interspersed with coastal bushland. The art work at Yanchep resembled etchings on pale coloured backgrounds. One side of the track was behind the train which was waiting to take us back again so that wasn't visible either. We tried to peer through the train windows but there was too much reflection. Coffee and refreshments were warranted so we caught the train back to Joondalup Station which is in the middle of the Lakeside Shopping Centre. We were impressed at that. After sustenance we continued back to Perth then onto Midland and up the Hill to home.
